Recently, Kanbula in Qinghai Province has officially joined the list of UNESCO Global Geoparks.

Located in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, Kanbula Global Geopark has a total area of 3,149.34 square kilometers and features 162 scenic spots showcasing geological relics.

It is the second UNESCO Global Geopark in Qinghai Province, following Mount Kunlun UNESCO Global Geopark, and it is also the 7th nature reserve in the province to receive a “world-class” title.
