June 13 marked the 2026 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day. On the day, a series of intangible cultural heritage activities moved beyond indoor venues and into scenic areas, with an intangible cultural heritage fashion show held at the Buddha Palm Sand Dunes Scenic Area in Mainling City.

With the sky and land as the backdrop and the sand dunes as the stage, the event showcased the beauty of Nyingchi’s intangible cultural heritage to audiences across China through an online livestream.
