Recently, a group comprising prosperous local leaders, cooperative backbone members, young returnee entrepreneurs, and farmers and herders interested in e-commerce development from Nagqu traveled to Beijing for a specialized training and exchange program. The delegation visited the Global Headquarters Campus of JD, one of China’s leading e-commerce enterprises.
Through the visit and study tour, the delegation learned that short-form videos and livestreaming are not only sales tools but also key channels for showcasing rural landscapes and promoting local culture. By documenting agricultural and pastoral life and sharing the stories behind their products, they can foster emotional connections between consumers and producers. This approach enables the group to transform their business model from simply selling products to promoting a way of life.
