On the first night after the earthquake, our reporter rushed to Maru Township, Nagqu, Xizang, to provide timely coverage from the quake-hit area. 

The reporter observed that residents had already moved into emergency tents, with supplies arranged in neat rows. 

Sixteen people have been killed and 76 others are injured following a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Baqen County, Nagqu City in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region at 10:33 p.m. on Thursday.
