Since the mudslide disaster struck Gyirong, the county has swiftly set up several volunteer service stations near temporary shelters for affected residents to support disaster relief and resettlement efforts.

Staff members at a volunteer service station provide basic medical services to frontline personnel. 

As some Nepalese border residents were stranded by the disaster, local authorities set up a volunteer service station for them. Volunteers have distributed drinking water, food and other daily necessities to those stranded, talked with them patiently and helped ease their anxiety. They have also gathered and reported their needs and concerns.
