Kelsang Gyaltsen, former vice president of the Tsangyang Gyatso Cultural Research Association of Xizang, said that the Mon-yul region is the birthplace of Tsangyang Gyatso and that research into his cultural legacy is of great significance to safeguarding national sovereignty. The Tsangyang Gyatso Culture Research Association has collected versions of poems from Lhasa, organized experts to conduct research, editing and compilation, and translated related works into Chinese for publication, helping preserve and promote the cultural heritage.
