On the morning of November 4, the first post-earthquake class session for students from Baqen County, Nagqu City, which was struck by a magnitude-7.0 earthquake, was held at Nagqu Complete Secondary School in Lhasa. A total of 1,366 students from Maru Township and Gangchen Township in Baqen County, who had relocated to continue their studies, attended the session, together with 80 teachers. That morning, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held on the school playground. Teachers and students stood in neat rows, watching the red flag rise.
