Ngari Students Explore Cultural Heritage and Innovation at Museums

2026-07-09  | China Tibet Online

On July 3, students from Kong Fansen Primary School in Gar County, Ngari Prefecture, Xizang, visited the National Museum of China and the China Science and Technology Museum, exploring Chinese cultural heritage and technological innovation respectively.

The National Museum of China was bustling with visitors during the summer vacation. Dressed in bright orange shirts, the children from Kong Fansen Primary School looked like vibrant Gelsang flowers dancing through the exhibition halls. Standing before one exhibit after another, they learned about ancient China and explored the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.

The China Science and Technology Museum, meanwhile, was a sea of children eager to explore. In the “Glory of China” exhibition hall, exhibits featuring the ancient astronomical observatory, ships, waterwheels, weaving looms, and educational toys captured their attention. A variety of hands-on models allowed the students to touch, build, and discover through direct experience.

In the "Marveling at the Charm of Intelligence" exhibition area, some children gathered around the “Basketball Master” exhibit, reluctant to leave as they watched robots shoot baskets with remarkable accuracy. Others stood smiling in front of the “Find the Most Beautiful Smile” interactive display, eagerly waiting for their faces to appear on the giant screen.
